Download Policy

Purpose

PKV can help users retrieve and process supported online content.

Your responsibility

By using the download feature, you confirm that you have the right, permission, licence, or other lawful basis to download and use the content. PKV does not determine whether a particular download is lawful.

Creator and source provenance

Where available, PKV attempts to preserve source information, including creator name, creator or source URL, original source URL, title, publication date, platform or source ID, original description, and capture-time metadata.

PKV does not claim ownership of downloaded third-party content.

Platform rules

You remain responsible for complying with the rules and terms of the platform from which content originates. Platform terms and applicable law may separately restrict downloading or use.

Copyright and other rights

You remain responsible for copyright and other applicable rights. Attribution does not itself grant permission to copy, distribute, publish, or reuse content.

Prohibited use

Do not knowingly use PKV to:

• download content without appropriate rights or permission;
• evade access controls;
• redistribute content unlawfully; or
• misrepresent another creator's work as your own.

Temporary visitor processing

Visitor processing handles one item at a time. It is temporary: PKV does not present visitor captures as a permanent personal Vault. Any media generated for a visitor download is temporary and is not retained as part of a personal Vault.

Future policy updates

This policy may be updated as PKV adds new source types and account features.
